Here we have an authentic, early, Kenneth Jay Lane, KJL, hinged, bangle bracelet created in aubergine and sunflower yellow enamel over a gold-plated setting. It has a single hinge that opens on the side and a magnetic snap closure. The bracelet is in very good condition, with only one tiny chip near the inside edge of the band and not at all noticeable when worn. This piece is so unusual and I've not seen another one like it. It top is marked with one of his earliest signatures, "K.J.L." and is most likely from the 1960s to early 70s. It is a highly attractive piece for the KJL jewelry collector. It is on the dainty side, measuring approximately 6 1/2 inches along the inside circumference and is about 3/8 inches across the width of the band.
