Old Vtg 1940s top Ball Perfect Mason Blue Quart Fruit Jar Blob of Junk in Glass

This offering is for an antique first half of the 20th century fruit jar embossed "BALL PERFECT MASON". top The jar is a standard BPM with the exception of a large glob of what looks like un melted sand on one side right on the seam. The color is Ball blue. The embossing is very strong and the base has a number 9 embossed on it. The glass is a little dingy looking with what looks like a couple of very light rust marks. I do see a tiny flake on the under side of one of the threads, otherwise there are no chips or cracks. The jar measures app. 6 7/8" tall and it is complete with a zinc lid.
