Made from grandadillo, curly maple, and wenge.

This is a REAL chess board - not a cheap top board bought for $3.00 in bulk and resold for $30.00. This medium board is made with 1.5" squares of granadillo and curly maple wood. It has been framed with thin strips of wenge and wide strips of granadillo. It weighs over 5 lbs, is solid, and reversible. It would make such an amazing gift for a chess enthusiast!

FINISH
This board has been finished with 4 coats of satin polyurethane. No stains or other finishes were used.

UNIQUE-NESS
Wood is a natural material and each piece will be unique. There will be variations in wood color, grain, and texture. However, I will stay true to the theme of "random strips of different woods arranged for maximum beauty."
