Antique large linen pillowcase from France, duvet cover, linen, top ruffles, foot warmer, white linen, buttons

Very nice old duvet cover or oversized "pillowcase" with delicate perforated embroidery and ruffles in very thin white linen quality from France. These "small" duvets were probably used as foot warmers in the past. However, it can also act as a cot or as a decoration. Only a small spot is rubbed - see picture no. 7. Otherwise in great condition. The back has buttons. We had such a lovely blanket once in a mansion we had stayed in. We had never encountered anything like this before.
