Unique one of a kind Atlantic Whelk shell top fragment from Folly Beach with Peruvian Quartz cluster and mala beads from India

This necklace just feels so magical. Kind of like a shell gnome!

I made it with an Atlantic Whelk shell fragment that I found at Folly Beach this summer and added the perfect Peruvian Quartz cluster. I am in love with Peruvian Quartz and this cluster seems perfectly fitted to this piece. 3 mala beads from India and hemp cord are also used in the piece.

I am vegan, but I did use a small piece of raw, sand colored leather to apply the cluster to the shell along with jewelers glue. I have had the leather since I lived in Oklahoma many years ago and would rather put it to use rather than throw it away.

This necklace is made from natural materials. It can break if hit or dropped on a hard surface. I do not coat the shells or quartz with any sealer. I do use jewelry glue when needed to secure items in the design.
