A stylish Statement top Ring by Modern British Silversmith Paul Edward Bunn. Bunn was producing hand-made jewellery from the mid-1970s through to the mid-1990s and his work is high quality and quite collectible. He was from Stoke-on-Trent and his pieces have the Birmingham Assay mark.
This Sterling Silver ring has a beautiful Cabochon Malachite with characteristic mid-green to dark green stripes. The stone is bezel mounted in an oval setting decorated with a rope twist and the simple shank has beautifully branched shoulders.
The band is fully hallmarked with the Maker's Initials, the Birmingham Assay mark, and the date letter for 1988.
An attractive and vividly coloured ring in fantastic condition.
