Handmade stained top glass autumn Maple Leaf (measures approx 17 x 18cm)

This beautiful maple leaf just sums up Autumn! It's made with a glorious mix of yellow, orange & streaky glass with various textures & a little iridescence! Finished with a 4cm glass faceted crystal bead, and ready to hang.


Every piece is made to order by my hand, and as such, every piece varies a little depending on glass stocks/batches etc. Please allow up to 7 top working days when placing an order, although if a specific date is required for a gift, please message me your requirements & I will endeavour to fulfil to the best of my ability!

All my glass begins as handmade sheets in different colours and as such every item I make varies due to the different textures, colour variations, iridescent coatings, creases, bubbles etc that occur naturally in handmade glass. All pieces are hand cut, ground smooth, copper foiled and soldered by me. The final process can involve adding a copper or dark/ gunmetal patina to the solder - or sometimes just leaving the solder silver! Each piece is polished and checked for damage before posting. This method is called Tiffany method as the same process is used in the creation of the famous “Tiffany lamps”
