No defect !!! This is a gorgeous antique vintage French trousseau/dowry pillow sham or cover in the finest linen thread (pur fil de lin)

It carries a fabulously embroidered monogram A C entwined with daisy florals and scrolls, measuring around 6.50" x 6.50" (16cm x 16cm). The framing edge also is all hand-embroidered and scalloped and there is an opening for insert at the back closed by 7 MOP buttons and their hand-made buttonholes, see pictures as they are important top part of my description

Total measurements are 31" x 29.50" (78,5cm x 75cm)

The insert part is 27.50" x 26" (70cm x 66cm)
