This large ceramic bird figurine cachepot/planter is handcrafted and intricately hand-painted in rich and colorful soft tones and is a fine example of traditional Mexican folk art. Beautifully crafted and painted, and in overall wonderful vintage condition with no chips, cracks or crazing. The glazed surface has a lustrous finish. A very solid and well-formed piece. On the back, toward the base, it is signed "Cat Mexico 2". A wonderful and functional artistic centerpiece, which is gorgeous on its own or filled with plants and flowers! Made in Mexico. This home accent piece is meant for DECORATIVE USE OR DISPLAY ONLY.
