Vintage Studio Pottery Giant Wall Pocket Signed Cascarano - Alaska Art Pottery. This is a wonderfully unique, big, heavy piece of art pottery that was intended to be a wall pocket, but honestly, it is quite heavy (over 9 lbs), and the holes in the bottom could cause a wall dripping issue. However, it would be a stunning console or mantle piece. I can't definitively identify the artist, however the writing is the same as Moss Cascarano, Fairbanks, Alaska, which I've seen on other similar pieces. The style reflects an Alaskan motif with abstract fish (I think) in blue and brown on a white background. There are no chips or cracks, but it is rustic in form. A stunning and unique piece!
