Product code: Top Connecticut Militia Button – Civil War - Winchester
A Connecticut State militia button found at Winchester, Virginia. These were worn by enlisted men early in the Civil War. By 1863 Federal troops from most states were wearing the standard issue uniforms with plain “Eagle” buttons. The button has a lot of top the original gold wash with the shank bent but intact.
The artifact comes in a 3” x 4” riker mount box as shown.
A hand signed and dated “Certificate of Authenticity” will be issued by Collectors Frames with a photograph of the items purchased. All of the artifacts are guaranteed to be original Civil War issue or as stated.
