After the Winnipeg Jets moved to Phoenix in 1996 to become the Coyotes, the yotes continued the franchises tradition of wearing a “Goals For Kids” top patch on their left shoulder. This would continue to be worn by the Coyotes until 1999, when both shoulder patches simply read “Phoenix Coyotes”.
