Implosion Shelled Sea top Turtle Hatchling

This is a one of a kind implosion shelled sea turtle hatchling that has been sculpted by me out of borosilicate glass. The flippers on this turtle are made from the same sparkly black glass the shell is backed with and feature details bumps of a color called amber purple which creates beautiful organic wisps and swirls in the color. The beautiful implosion inside the shell is made by trapping gold and silver fume deep within the shell. The silver translates to blues, greens, and yellow colors, while the gold translates to pinks and golds. To me these implosions are reminiscent of a three dimensional fireworks explosion that is standing still. I make all of my hatchling's from a combination of American, Canadian, and German glass. All of my sea turtle hatchlings are hand signed and dated. This smaller sized hatchling is approximately 3" long, has about a 3.75" flipper span top, and weighs 2.3 ounces. Thanks for looking! - Gil
