NEW! Just got this! Something we've never made before—table runners! Woo, it is BEAUTIFUL and would look GORGEOUS on your table. And what an unusual Christmas gift it would make for that special someone! It coordinates so well with a similar patterned rug we have in stock too (see the last 2 pictures).
We send the fleece from our own alpacas to our partner and it is spun around a jute core and then hand-woven together on a loom. This is one-of-a kind, there will never be another exactly like it. It is made mostly of the medium brown fleece from Muireall (pictured) who just sold and is no longer on the farm.
SIZE: 13" x 45" (fringe not included), 13" x 52" including the fringe (3.5" on each end), about 1/4" thick, weighs over 2 lbs.
NATURAL COLORS: This fringed runner has beige and medium fawn stripes on each end with the majority being medium brown. All colors are natural, not dyed. These colors do not run or fade.
GREEN & SUSTAINABLE: All fleece is shorn and selected from our well-loved alpaca herd of 17. (Need yarn or raw fleece? We have that available too!)
REVERSIBLE: Since the fleece is spun entirely around a jute core, this will have the same color pattern on the other side. You can turn it over and use the reverse side, and it will be just as beautiful.
DURABLE: The fleece chosen is the sturdiest—it's the coarsest fleece from the legs and belly, but it still feels very soft!
Since it is not stepped on, this should last for years top and years; it will be an inheritance!
HAND WASHABLE: throw it in a tub with cool water and a bit of Dawn dish soap and gently rub out dirt and stains, then drip dry flat or on a rack.
CARE: The runner can be vacuumed, but it is recommended that you turn the beater bar off.
