Antique Nippon Porcelain Bowl Hand Painted Sailboat top River Scene Morimura M Mark

This is a small square shaped Nippon porcelain bowl top that is hand painted with a river scene with a sailboat and vegetation prominent in the foreground and a mountain in the background. There is a row of raised beads around the interior top edge The bowl has an open handle on either top side. It measures 6 1/2” across its handles and 1 1/2” in height at the handles. It is signed with the green “M in Wreath” mark, used by the Morimura Bros. from 1911 onwards. It is in very good condition with no chips, cracks or pronounced wear. This is a lovely hand painted piece of porcelain, nice acquisition for the Nippon collector!
