Manzanita top Wand w/Green ~ Pink ~ Blue ~ Lavender: Tourmaline Rainbow

This Faery Wand was handmade by me in my Otherworld studio.

It is made out of Manzanita Wood, with a Clear Quartz tip, and Hematite end stone set in place using a resin recipe consisting mainly of Dragon's Blood (no, not from a real dragon, unless it was living inside the so named tree). The top half of the wand is set with six pieces of tourmaline, from black velvet to dark green, light green, greenish blue, pale blue and reddish violet. Each tourmaline is surrounded by about eight small, polished nuggets of Turquoise.

Wrapped in Sterling Silver is a small fossil fern from the wonderful fossil, gemstone and more shop of the lovely Aletha at www.etsy.com/shop/NoStoneLeftUnturned

Ferns connect to the ancient past. They are one the most ancient creations on Earth, and hold great beauty and calming energy within them. Cowry shells have been used from parts of Europe throughout Africa and Asia for jewelry, spiritual purposes, and as a form of money. They are from the oceans, and are connected with the ocean goddesses, prosperity, protection, and decoration and crafts. The Copper wire is pure, and is set in an energy spiral to facilitate the flow of energy along the wand.

This wand was gathered from a tree on private land in a respectful way and for the sole purpose of becoming a magical wand. It was created in a magic circle, anointed with Vervain oil, smudged with Sage, and shown to the Sun, Moon and Stars. It now awaits a magical companion…

Manzanita Wood is ruled by the Element of Fire. It grows in the desert and in forests, and is sacred to the Sun. Wands made of Manzanita Wood are especially good for exorcism, banishing, psychic workings, protection, honesty, and happiness.
