The original all weather outdoor Catipi made with love by My Tenth Life.
Insulated with reflective radiant heat silver bubble roll. Double bubbles and insulation on the sides, 4 layers on the bottom where the cat will sit. The benefit is in the radiant heat and layers of air bubbles that shield inside from outside. The radiant heating properties are intense.
19/32" plywood for the base, 3/8" x 32" hardwood dowels form the poles.
Moisture barrier at the top is thick and resilient PVC plastic. Will not crack when it freezes. PVC coated wire at the apex prevents rust stains.
Thick Cotton Canvas skin that has been pre washed and shrunk. Marine grade water repellant applied prior to shipping- annual re application is recommended.
Your All weather Catipi is designed to be snug around the cat. When a cat curls into a sleep we want it to be touching the sides- this way the reflective insulation and the straw, if applicable, can do its job. It does, it will keep your cat(s) warm.
1.5" supports under the base prevent the Catipi from sitting on the ground.
Water repellant spray is applied over the finished product. It is recommended to re apply annually in humid areas.
Brass grommets connecting skin to base will not rust.
A word about shipping- shipping this structure whole is prohibitive. It is made to be assembled in 3 easy steps.

the cover comes in it entirely and one simply put the poles in the holes in the base
