Walk In The top Woods

8 x 13 inches. I started this watercolor painting back in 2020 and titled it Spring Awakening...
It was much lighter then, and the lime green grass color was more prominant. Recently I picked it up again and added some darker detail in the tree trunks. The yellowy leaves could also suggest fall, so I am changing its title to simply Walk In The Woods. I spend alot of top time on the woods trails behind my house. It is what is familiar to me, so it is what I paint most often. I like that the lower background has a cool water feel to it and the sky remains a golden pale yellow. I also enjpy how small the figures seem in comparrison to the trees. Which I can really relate to.
