Beautiful Black Walnut log slice for displaying your home décor....candles, flower vase, figurines or wedding cakes.

This Walnut log slice is extra large and heavy. The dimensions are: 2” thick and 9-1/2” wide x 14” long and weighs 8 lbs.

I cut this slice from reclaimed logs found in the Michigan woods. I use a chainsaw to cut the slice from the log and remove the bark. Then, after cutting to a rough shape. The natural split is from the drying process and is stabilized with a walnut wood bow-ties I inserted.

The live edge sides are sanded smooth to show the wonderful grain colors. On the bottom, I added rubber feet for stability to protect the finish of your table or countertop. The Java Woodworks logo is branded and I initial and number each piece for authenticity.

I use the best quality oil-urethane sealer to create a deep, lustrous finish. I apply several coats and buff it smooth to create a beautiful satin sheen.

This is truly a unique piece that will look wonderful on your kitchen island or dining table or perhaps on the living room top coffee table. (#12)
