Small bisque pin tray featuring a muzzled pup. Exact age unknown. Very light hand printed id on the underside but we cannot identify, and we can see no other markings. We have seen this figure attributed to Gebruder Heubach, but since we cannot confirm, this figurine is being sold "as found".
Dog coloration and face features are wonderfully done. The top of the tray is green with gold accenting. The front of the tray is painted, the sides and back are still white; please see all photos. There are some random stray paint marks to the white, and may also include small rubs, again please refer to the photos.
No cracks, no breaks, no repairs.
Height is approximately 2.75", full length is approximately 4.5". Piece front to back is approximately 3.5", the dog is "leaning" by design on the back edge, obviously in a sign of defiance.
Interesting little piece for a collection!
