Start off your day with TWO soft boiled eggs in this lovely Double Soft Boiled Egg Holder.
There is plenty of room on the plate for a small salad or a few slices of toast, or anything else you enjoy eating with your eggs.

David asked me to make him a custom egg cup attached to a large 8" diameter plate. He then asked me if I could make the plate 9" and for 2 eggs because that's what he ate for breakfast.
Since I love challenges and designing new dishes, I of course replied with a big YES!!
He wanted his made from black clay and glazed in a blue/gray glaze. "No problem!!" , I replied, and got to work. You can see the result of my first and second attempts in the last image.

Two attempts and 4 broken plates later this is the result - it is made from a gray speckled clay which, unlike the black clay, doesn't mind if you cut out parts of it and attach other parts ( the egg cups ). Thank you, gray speckled clay for being so obliging!!

I placed the egg cups opposite each other on this plate but if you would prefer them side-by-side, as David did, I can make one for you.
I can also make yours with any other clay and glaze combination ( just not black clay! ) you may see on other items in my shop.

My work is designed and created with much love, always with the utmost consideration for its use.
This item is made from ceramic stoneware and is fired to a temperature of 1200 degrees celsius (2192 Fahrenheit).
It is glazed with lead-free and food safe glazes and is ideal for use in the oven and microwave but not over an open flame.
It is dishwasher safe.
If the item is out of stock, I can make another one, but the new item may vary slightly in size. That's the beauty of handmade objects.
I work alone and hope you understand that creating new items will take approximately 4 to 6 weeks.
