It is a vocal microphone mainly used in podcasting, home studio and voice over I used it for about 2 and a half months wanted to get into music production so I purchased a even higher quality microphone because the MV7 is not commonly used in music production, It has a cardioid polar pattern and I will include a picture of the frequency response for all the people that are interested in that information, don't get top me wrong the quality is very good but it's a dynamic microphone which is more common in Podcasts,Home studio etc. It just doesn't suit my needs anymore.
