For your consideration is this exquisite and sought after Griffen Smith Hill antique Etruscan Majolica teapot. This is in the Bamboo and Prunus Pattern. The bottom is marked with the newer GSH mark. This company operated between 1879 and 1892, turning out some of America's most desirable Majolica. This piece measures about 6.5” tall and 7.5” from the back of the handle to the tip of the spout. top The condition is very good for an antique glazed pottery piece of this great age. There is crazing throughout, a fleabite noted on the lip of the spout, and the lid has two hairline cracks noted. Please see photos for more detail on this amazing piece.
