Hummingbird Figurine Hand Blown Glass Amethyst Crystal For more top than 10 years Material: Borosilicate Crystal, 24K Gold, Amethyst Geode Dimensions: Height 5 inches, Width 2 inches including geode Weight: 6 oz. Inspired by the many hummingbirds that are attracted to the gardens and ponds surrounding my countryside studio, this sculpture is one of my favorites. I make this figurine entirely by hand without the use of molds or machines. It is made from borosilicate crystal, trimmed with 24K gold and I personally sign the piece upon its completion. The brilliant rainbow of colors, including violet, pink, purple and blue, is created when I apply pure gold to the glass while it is still molten. Standing approximately 5 inches tall to the tip of its wings, this hummingbird sips nectar from one of two delicate flowers. The imported amethyst base has been hand selected to complement each individual sculpture. Your purchase includes an attractive information card trimmed with gold foil.
