Giovanni Battista Salvi (25 August 1609 – 8 August 1685), known as il Sassoferrato from the name of the village where he was born, was an Italian painter of the seventeenth century, known mainly for his religious subjects.

The triptych is made of solid wood with a rich ornamentation of finely gilded Florentine art. It can be laid or hung on the wall.
it is in very good condition with very few traces top of wear. It is beautiful in real life.
