One top for the Money Signed by Janet Evanovich First Edition Hardcover Debut Stephanie Plum Mystery Book
This first edition of the 1994 Janet Evanovich mystery novel, introducing Stephanie Plum is signed by the author on the title page. Published by Charles Scribner's Sons.
Before the author's signature, there is an inscription
that reads, ‘To Betty, a partner in crime!', which was written by the book's buyer—looks like it was a gift to a friend.
Overall, in good vintage condition given age and storage.
The dust jacket has a small tear on the top back corner at the flap. On the front, there is a purple “Signed Copy” sticker; some of the color has top rubbed off it. Also, there is a bit of black smudging (possibly ink) on the right side near the eye. There is a small nick through the letter F on the cover in the word, for. Under the dust jacket, the white of the binding on the spine has some orange-ish discoloration—not sure from what. Please inspect the photos with the zoom feature, as they are part of the description. I have included all angles, so that any flaws are clearly identifiable.
The bottom of pages 85-110 are a bit wrinkled, like maybe a little water was dripped on them—no dark stains or damage to the printing at all, though. No pages are torn, written on (except the signed title page), or missing.
From a smoke free environment.
