Mari Simmulson for Upsala Ekeby - HOURGLASS Vase. Colorful graphic design agains a white glaze. The decoration is handpainted on a rough chamotte clay. The "hourglass" serie is done in three variations; A bowl and two vases. This vase is the medium size
Anne-Lisa Thomson (1905-1952) studied art at the Art and Design School. Between 1928-33 she was employed at St Eriks Lervarufabriker, where she designed most of the St. Eriks collection. In 1933 she was employed by Upsala-Ekeby, where she remained until her death in 1952.
