Vintage Ornate top Turquoise Purse Chatelaine Locket / Miniature Belt Sash Clip

This is a very tiny gold purse with an ornate frame attached to a chatelaine clip. I believe it is probably from the 1930s or 1940s. The diminutive purse measures 1 1/2" high and slightly less than 1 1/2" wide. It has an ornate metal frame with a kiss lock and the body of the purse is a fine gold metal mesh. The handle of the purse is a 3"decorative chain with a gold metal clip attached to the top so that the purse hangs down from the clip. The clip is etched design.
