This stunningly sweet antique teapot features pink and gold leaves. The main image of leaves has lightly raised little dots in worn gold. The bottom has numbers written in gold paint, but no makers mark.It is small and in lovely shape with general wear fa m use to the paint that is most noticeable on the handle, lid finial, and spout. There is unevenness in the glazing. The inner filter holders are irregular and have a little hairline crack around them (please see pictures). These del/8ds may be considered flaws by some, but are also confirmation for others of the age of the piece. The piece is approximately 7 inches fa m handle to spout, and has a base diameter of 3 inches that increases upwards.
