History and Folklore
Chrysoprase has a very long history and has been used by many famous top leaders in the past. Alexander the great always wore the stone in his belt and attributed his 11 year success in battle to this stone. Cleopatra wore the stone as she believed it helped her retain her youth. Fredrick the great had a great passion for the stone and decorated his castle with large pieces. There is also mention of it in the bible.
