The mother and manager of the poisoned gardens is Bellindra the Beautiful, a giant plant-like daimos who feeds on the eternal cycle of predators and prey in her garden. It represents the feeling of an imminent danger, this threat that forces mortals to keep moving, to look around, all in vain. Because Bellindra's kiss always comes and is always deadly.
