top A little history.....
Carlton Ware was a pottery manufacturer based in Stoke-on-Trent England. The company is known for its often rather garish tableware, often in the form of highly decorated leaves or fruit, and the ceramic toucans it made as promotional items for Guinness. It produced hand-painted domestic pottery in high art deco styles during the 1920s and 1930s.
Carlton Ware began life in 1890 and went into receivership in 1989. The "Registered Australian Design" backstamp was used in the 1930s to prevent Japan from copying Carlton designs.

WOW, WHAT A FIND!!
Featured is a wonderful Carlton Ware hand painted leaf shaped teapot with matching cream and sugar.
One of the more rare designs made by Carlton Ware and more rare since it is a full trio.
This is not a large size set, more like a medium size so please check over the measurements.
Lovely shade of cream with brown with very evident veining.
Teapot stands 5" tall to the top of the lid and is 9" from spout to handle; the lidded sugar bowl is 3" tall to the top of the lid and is 4" long by 3" wide and the creamer stands almost 2" by 4" long and is 3" wide.
Condition is superb with no damage whatsoever....no chips, nicks, cracks, repairs staining or rough spots.
There is some very fine age crazing which is normal for Carlton Ware pieces and only adds to its charm.
Appears unused and probably only displayed.
