Product code: Vintage 1960's Felipe Derflingher Caged Mexican Shot Glasses top Set of 4, Brutalist
Set of 4 handmade amber glass imprisoned shot glasses designed by Filipe Derflingher. These brutalist glasses were made in the Mexico City workshop around the 1960's. They are made by hand blowing molten glass from broken bottles into metal cylinders, so it bulges through the geometric openings cut into the metal. They are in good vintage condition - there is some beautiful patination on the metal as expected. There are bubbles in top the glass from production, a bit of roughness on the bottom (I think this is also from production process), and one has a small chip on the rim (see photos). Photos depict condition - please ask if you have questions!.
