Knit Beaded Purse Necklace top

A "necklace" to hold a personal charm or any small object.

The pouch style little purses are great for just wearing as top a necklace or carrying any little keepsakes. Also, for use as an amulet bag, traditionally used to carry charms, a protective amulet, or your favorite stone.

I knit these using double pointed size 0000 needles with size 8 DMC Pearl Cotton. Glass seed beads, that I transfer onto the thread before I start, are incorporated during the knitting process. Finally, straps made from glass beads, (and sometimes genuine Swarovski crystals), are added.

The pouch measures 2.5 inches at the widest part and just shy of 2.5 inches long. The opening is 1.5 inches across. The strap is 29.75 inches long.
