Handwoven Scarf - Wool Silk Scarf - top Mauve Scarf

This handwoven scarf is made from silk, wool and Tencel, and the colors are just beautiful! I used shades of pink, mauve, lilac and purple for the warp, with dark mauve in the weft. The scarf is woven in a herringbone twill pattern, which highlights the colors and sheen of the silk fibers. It is super soft, has a nice light top drape and is dense enough to be as warm as it is beautiful. The ends are finished with a short fringe.

Warp - 51% silk, 49% merino wool
Weft - Tencel

Hand wash is cold water, roll in a towel to remove excess water. Dry flat or line dry, may be pressed with a warm iron if needed.
