This delightful Paragon tea set would be perfect for a special occasion. The set consists of 2 teacups & saucers with matching cream & sugar. The cream-coloured porcelain features baskets of summer blooms and a ribbon of black & lavender vines trails the outer edge of each piece. The handle, upper rim, footed base and the mid-line of each teacup is trimmed in blush-pink. The teacups measure 2 1/2" to top of handle x
3 5/8" across with a 5 1/2" saucer. The creamer stands 2 1/2" tall x 4 1/2" from spout to handle and the sugar bowl stands 2 1/4" high x 3 top 3/8" across the widest measure. There is some dis-colouration noted in the bowl of 1 cup (see close-up pic. #4), and a paint mark noted on the underside of the sugar bowl. Some of the clear glaze has yellowed in creases around handles and under saucers. No chips, cracks or crazing are seen in this exquisite set and the back-stamp dates it 1935.
