Antique Stoneware Crock 2 Gallon Whiskey top Jug

A 2 gallon over the shoulder jug with an added bonus top of a corn cob stopper. This two-toned salt glazed jug has a deep brown glazed top and a tan bottom, marked with a blue 2 in a double circle. It is a very heavy (10 lbs.) jug with thick walls, no cracks or crazing. It has a one chip present, where the brown and tan meet and there are marks around the drinking spout, all shown in photos. There are firing imperfections as with any of these true period pieces. This jug measures 13” tall by 9” diameter at the bottom.
