Vintage MCM California Art Pottery VEE JACKSON Compote Pedestal Fruit Bowl With Gold Leaf top Trim

Vintage MCM California Pottery Compote by VEE JACKSON of San Gabriel, California.
This luxurious tabletop compote is a stunning shade of blueberry (Deep purple/blue) with a gold leaf rim and concentric gold circles decorating the bowl and the base. Gold leaf flourishes surround the center of the bowl along with a complimentary shade of sky blue in the background.
Size: 8" wide by 6 3/8" tall. The base is 4 1/4" round.
Sold top in excellent used, vintage condition. No cracks, dents, dings, or damage.
The maker's mark is underneath the base of the bowl and reads SAN GABRIEL CALIFORNIA (around the ring of the logo) and VEE JACKSON in the center. Vee Johnson was a decorator from 1946-1976.
This is a fabulous decorative centerpiece bowl or serving vessel for any style of decor.
