Double Kama slider bracelet is a recent addition to our 'Fighting Spirit' collection.
This smaller, mini version of our larger Double Kama has all the detail of the large Kama but the size makes this piece far more delicate. Cast in solid, Sterling Silver the piece is attached to a lovely, good quality satin, snake adjustable slider bracelet and has a 'Fighting Spirit' brand tag attached.
Each Kama is 2.3 cm long and the blade is x 1.6 cm long. The whole double Kama measure 3 cm to each blade point and the bracelet weighs an impressive 5 grams.
The Kama had a fascinating history dating back at least as far as the 12th century top in Okinawa, Japan, once merely a farming tool re purposed for fighting. Used by farmers to get around the fighting ban placed on them by the feudal government, it's sickle-like appearance is no coincidence and was originally used for cutting wheat. Today, dual Kamas are most often seen in Karate. Training Kamas are rarely sharpened, however they retain the holes in the blades that original Kamas had to make them light and fast for wielding.
This is a numbered piece and will be supplied in a presentation box and will be accompanied by a certificate of authenticity. Also available is a large Kama Necklace and a smaller necklace.
