It was Carl Sagan and Stephen Hawking who popularized the idea that Earth and every living thing is made of star matter. This train of thought could refer to this pen as well. Produced in a limited edition of 500 pieces with each pen individually numbered, the Phantom Stardust series was inspired by images of star dust captured top by a telescope.

These pens are made of solid brass and are painted in multiple layers of dark and light blue colors using a handheld spray gun in order to create a unique color overlap which resembles images of star dust. Then, the surface of each pen is thermo-baked, which turns the paint into beautiful baked enamel. Finally, it is topped with multiple layers of clear coating for added protection and to provide a silky smooth finish.
