1940's Black Wool Felt Tilt Hat, top Vintage "Valerie, Modes" Size 22 Hat, Mid Century Millinary, Gift for Her, Cosplay

top A fabulous black wool felted hat from the 1940's. Soft and pliable, this tilt hat is higher in the front and lower in the back. It has 2 cute felted ribbons in the back and a beautiful light beige lining inside. It is marked "Valerie, Modes" Size 22. There may have been another label by the size tag since there is a little glue on the grosgrain ribbon inside the brim, but otherwise in pristine condition.
The inner band is 22 inches, which is a medium. A beautiful and versatile hat from a bygone era!
