Product code: 1930s Art Deco top Bakelite Lamp
Art Deco film noir brown bakelite swivel desk library lamp with vanity pen holder made in the US by the Atlas Appliance Corp. of Brooklyn, NY in the 1930s. The lamp is brand stamped and also top charmingly marked Patent Pending underneath. The lamp measures 11” high x 8” wide x 7” deep. Condition: antique close to 100 years old. There is a 2” sliver crack on the side of the lamp shade as pictured but it's sturdy and not cracking more. The lightbulb base under the lamp shade can fall out and the light can flicker so it needs to be repositioned to stay in properly or a savvy buyer could fix it — the lightbulb holder could be secured— it is fixable. Gorgeous moody historical antique piece.
