Antique Leather Fur Muff Wallet and with Zipper Monogrammed Circa 1920's
This is an unusual leather and fur muff, wallet. The exterior is a coal black leather. The front is monogrammed with "OMC" in a cursive script. The back is unadorned leather. The wallet/ muff, although it is thin and retains it's shape can be used as a fur muff. Both ends are open and entire length is rabbit? fur lined.
Along all the sides of the muff the edges have been leather laced. The one side edge has a Mesh-lok Czechoslovakia zipper which opens to reveal a "hidden" wallet. The interior of which is textile, perhaps recycled tuck cloth which has been embroidered with a repeating pattern. The interior is divided in two "pockets," due to the division provided for the muff.
The total length is 11.5 inches (29.2 cm) The width 5.25 inches. (13.3 cm) The zipper length is 6.25 inches. (15.8 top cm)
