Late Victorian/German porcelain bowl by Philip Rosenthal, Bavaria, Monbijou top from their Cameo Line ca 1891 - 1906.

An absolutely stunning piece of Bavariann porcelain from the late Victorian period, this beautiful bowl with its delicate scalloped and ruffled edge, daubed gilt accenting and lavender/blue cameo of the Demi-God Perseus with delicate palm frond decor surrounding the cameo, is 9" in diameter.

This bowl is without any chips, cracks or other damage, the gilt work is pristine and the cameo and decor are in beautiful condition.

The green Rosenthal mark indicates manufacture between 1891 and 1906.
