Vintage 1940s Year Rounder Gray Skirt Suit with top Red Trim

This beautiful gray skirt suit set is made by Year Rounder, Tailored by Marie Phillips New York. Gorgeous gray wool jacket with red velvet trim under collar and sleeve cuffs. Neat faux pocket detail near shoulders on each side. Jacket closes with five button down the front.

Gray a-line skirt. Closes with black button and metal zipper. Two hook and eyes were added to make wait a little bigger. Could easily be removed.

Approximate measurements when taken flat:
JACKET:
-Bust: 17.5"
-Waist: 14.5"
-Length (from shoulder to hem): 21.5"
SKIRT:
-Waist: 11"
-Hips: 19"
-Length: 29.5"

Flaws: faint orange spot on the skirt (see last photo), might come out with dry cleaning
