"Late 19th C VELVET DOG Sweet pup with lots of charm, measures 4 1/4 inches long 1 1/2 inches tall by 1 1/2 inches broad. He is in very good condition with some wear attendant with age and use. Made sometime in the late 1800's, he is probably German in origin. He still sports his original glass eyes top and red satin floss mouth and nose.".
