Sea top Sponge

Original Abstract top Weaving/Painting to brighten any room of your home! This is an original piece by me, Heidi Gerrits. I am inspired by the plants, trees, mountains, and ocean that I see on daily walks in my neighbourhood of Vancouver, BC. I am interested in interpreting their natural beauty and unique forms through an abstract, hard-edge painting style, three-dimensional weaving, and a colourful palette.

Painted on stretched canvas using acrylic paint. This piece measures 16x20 inches, and has a depth of 2 inches with the weaving, 3/4 of an inch else where. It is signed and dated on the back. It can be hung with or without a frame.
