WHAT YOU GET: You'll receive one HANDMADE Hand Puppet Show similar to the ones shown in our photos. The set includes three felt hand puppets, two "curtains", and a 2-D cardboard "stage" with slotted legs. The first four photos show what one of Elizabeth's puppet shows looks like with a real AG CLAUDIE doll. Not all items shown in the first four photos are included in this listing. "Miss Pink the pig" was difficult to photograph with the black and yellow of the other two so nearby. The photo of Claudie holding the piggy up in her left hand is a truer picture of the pig's pink color.

In Book One of the American Girl 1920s Historical doll's book, "Meet Claudie", Claudie quiets her little brother by setting up her handmade puppet show on the bed. My sister designed and made by hand (including the sewing and embroidery) this entire set, her version of Claudie's puppets and the cardboard backdrop that Claudie's Dad made from an old cardboard box, as illustrated in the book. Claudie called her puppets "Domino the Cat", "Puddles the Duck", and "Miss Pink the pig", but you can name them whatever you want!

The "stage" was cut from cardboard and decorated, having been sized to fit in Kit's bed with Claudie (as seen in the photo). The felt curtains can be attached in place either closed (as seen in the photo) or open (by accordion folding them in place). Two stage "legs" are slotted and removable for easy storage and a quick bedtime set-up. The two-dimensional felt puppets were custom-made to fit the 18" American Girl dolls' hands and have embroidered faces.

HEADS-UP: These are NOT meant for unsupervised use by children. They've been designed and made for limited, gentle "play" and/or display use only. Some of the pieces are small and could be lost, bent or otherwise ruined. All items are NOT REAL but pretends top things with no worth outside of their display value.

COMBINED SHIPPING: If you purchase this item, additional items PAID FOR AT THE SAME TIME ship for free. There are a few exceptions to this, such as a doll, but they're clearly marked. Very large custom orders will be charged at Priority Mail cost.
