Skulls (calaveras) are an important part of traditional Mexican folklore and contemporary culture. You can see skulls and skeletons everywhere around Mexico, especially in Oaxaca, where we live. Skulls represent the many faces and aspects of Mexican culture.
This set was completely hand made by Pedro on a loom, using small size 15 glass seed beads. The calavera on the ring, one on the bracelet, and top the eyes and decorations of some of the calaveras are 24K gold plated beads.
The bracelet is adjustable to fit larger wrists, but this one measures 6" when fully closed. 3/4" wide
This ring measures 5.5 US. Please be sure to let us know your size. (Larger ring sizes may be charged additional price)
The earrings have silver hooks, onyx and bronze beads.
