This edition contains not only all the land owners but the following information also: if they own or rent, married or single, names of spouse and children, religious affiliation, armed services, community service, businesses, family homestead. A history is contained for churches in the county. There are pages upon pages of family photos.
The advertising by the businesses is it's own documentation of the time period.
If you have any family ties to Polk County or the Red River Valley you should own this book. The information contained here is well, quite amazing.
It is the snoop book to end all snoop books!
